The main responsibilities of this job role will include:
Supporting the development of the childcare provision
Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun Assisting the facility in meeting OFSTED requirements
Being a team player
Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children appropriately
Undertaking First Aid training as required
Undertaking training as appropriate to meet any changes in standards or appropriate legal requirements as required
Ensuring that all Health and Hygiene requirements are always adhered to
Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery and management Working with teams across the centre
Supporting children’s learning and development, including supporting planning and observations
Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children
Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea
Supporting children’s self-help needs
Being creative and enthusiastic
Training:
You will gain a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification at the end of the course
All training is completed remotely via teams, your tutor will be there to support you throughout and visit your setting
Online remote training sessions will take place once every week for the first 8 weeks and they’ll be scheduled in as and when
You will complete your Level 3 Paediatric First Aid
Training Outcome:Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a permanent position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for:

Some of your key duties will include:
Media preparation, be involved in equipment calibration daily, general laboratory house keeping
Sample preparation
Environmental Swabbing
Ensure compliance to the Mondelez GLP standard
Basic maintenance of laboratory equipment
Admin and revision of existing documents
Waste management
Stock Control
Carry out routine microbiological analysis of raw materials, WIP, and finished product to the agreed specifications and sampling rates
PCR analysis
Data analysis, results reporting and interpretation
Training:Through the training provider, CSR Scientific Training, you will undertake a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship which will include:
Fully recognised apprenticeship qualification - Level 3 Laboratory Technician
On-the-job competency training
Theoretical knowledge - BTEC Level 3 Applied Science (if required)
The majority of your learning will be completed online once a week with some face-to-face practical sessions/exams in Sutton Coldfield/Birmingham City Centre. Travel expenses will be covered for these sessions.
Upon successful completion, apprentices can apply for professional registration as a Registered Science Technician, RSciTech, with either the Royal Society of Chemistry or Royal Society of Biology. Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion, there may be the opportunity to progress onto a higher level apprenticeship.
