You'll take on a full-time role in the kitchen under the supervision of passionate chefs alongside your training. Not only do you gain a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship, you will be able to support the running of our kitchens, creating some amazing moments making sure that quality never slips for our guests!
What your apprenticeship includes:
A mixture of face to face and skype/phone catch ups every 4 - 6 weeks
A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars
Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Trainer
Feedback sessions to discuss progress
Obtain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSE)
30 hours paid work every week

Wage will be:
16-20-year-olds: £10 per hour
21+ year-olds: £12.21 per hour
At Mitchells and Butlers, you will be working towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over the course of 15-months.Training:Production Chef Apprenticeship Level 2 including Functional Skills in maths and English.

Organising, preparing-for, setting-up and attending all careers events and exhibitions
Monitoring all marketing ‘stock’ and reordering merchandise and supplies as needed
Supporting with organisation of company and community engagement events (including the 150-year celebrations in 2025)
Keeping the Jenner Group website updated with new content
Prepare and post content to all Jenner Group social media platforms
Organising work experience student placements and student site visits

Your duties will include:
General property maintenance - which could include painting, basic plumbing and electrical work (including PAT testing), legionella testing, fire alarm testing, emergency lights
Public realm work including carpentry such as installation of benches, noticeboards and general repairs to benches, bridges, fencing
Open green spaces - work to allotments, upkeep of planters
Assisting at events including setting up gazebos, running electrical cables and marshalling
Training:The completion of this Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship Standard will require monthly training visits from a qualified IPS Trainer to develop the Apprentice’s skills and in addition to this, some training based at our Rochester centre to progress the build of the portfolio and prepare for End Point Assessment.
