Salary: £48,000 - £72,000 per annum, plus annual bonus

Main Responsibilities:
Develop, validate, review and promote Radar Live models for Risk and Market Pricing.
Integration of models ahead of deployment.
Responsible for XML changes within model.
Build and deployment of Percayso quote manipulation rules.
Manage Radar defects arising from other areas of business from BAU/Standard/Project changes.
Radar version/licence updates.
Enrichment capstone specification maintenance.
Provide impact assessments for BAU, Standard and Project changes.
Ownership and maintenance of Pricing Product Specification documents.
Ensuring accuracy of Private Car, Commercial Vehicle, Motorcycle and Household rates and rules on internal systems and third party SWH.
Management, development and coaching of Junior Implementation Analysts.
Excellent at creating innovative solutions to problems and constantly striving to improve process.
Creating and improving best practices and standards for the team, and ensuring they are clearly communicated and adopted.
Ensure close collaboration and alignment with Product teams to ensure knowledge sharing and understanding of what the product builds are trying to achieve.
Deputise for the Pricing Implementation Manager when necessary.
Skills/Experience you need as Lead Radar Developer:
A strong educational background in a quantitative field (e.g., A-levels with numerical subjects).
Proven experience in insurance pricing, underwriting, or product development.
Expertise in Radar and Radar Live software.
A knack for solving complex problems with innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coach junior staff and influence stakeholders at all levels.
The ability to understand intricate rating structures and build efficient models.
A self-motivated personality with strong organisational and planning skills.
A proven track record of delivering high-quality pricing projects independently.
Proficiency in building radar models and conducting investigative tasks.

Proficiency in electronics, batteries, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and diesel engines
Experience with municipal cleaning equipment, fork trucks, HGVs, plant hire, horticultural, or agricultural machinery is advantageous.
Proven experience in the service and/or cleaning industry is preferred, or willingness to undergo fast-track training
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
A full UK driving license is essential, with willingness to travel and stay overnight as required
Passport for potential training in Germany is preferred

JOB PURPOSE:
New Product & Design Engineer/Leader will have the responsibility for design, development and testing of application of new product concepts for our new technology development and existing products. You will work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure that the designs meet market needs, cost targets, and production requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work independently to initiate innovative and functional product designs and manage the design projects related to new product development across all Rust-Oleum product categories. Participate in research of internal and external voice of customer meetings, analyze customer needs and insights, and translate them into value-added design solutions. Design, prototype, and test product design to ensure quality, functionality, durability, manufacturability and correlate chemical and physical material to consumer application and use, cost, safety and environmental impact. Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to ensure that the designs meet/exceed market/product needs, cost targets, and production requirements. Identify and select materials and components to meet design objectives. Identify, assess and select potential 3rd party design and /or manufacturing partners, and act as our project manager liaison with selected firm(s), travel to production facilities to evaluate processes and ensure compliance and quality to the standards. Develop and perform competitive assessments and analyses Act as the \"thought and team leader' for the business regarding product delivery system and packaging design. Create and/or guide engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances for designs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in Material and Mechanical Engineering or other related fields. 5 or more years of hands-on experience in new product development and tooling design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical systems with proven track record of successful new product design and development, preferably in durable consumer markets Extensive knowledge of product design, materials selection and manufacturing processes and direct experience working with a broad array of materials, preferably for various wipes of tools and delivery systems for coatings, cleaners and other consumer and industrial products. Excellent working knowledge of Computer Aided Design modelling concepts and software proficient with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D part modeling, drawing, and assembly creation of the mechanical components Experience working with tooling manufacturers both domestically and internationally. A passion for design, engineering, problem solving, with critical thinking and creativity. Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team from project concept through commercialization. Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills including good special acuity for design. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills. JOB PURPOSE:
New Product & Design Engineer will have the responsibility for design, development and testing of application of new product concepts for our new technology development and existing products. You will work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure that the designs meet market needs, cost targets, and production requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work independently to initiate innovative and functional product designs and manage the design projects related to new product development across all Rust-Oleum product categories. Participate in research of internal and external voice of customer meetings, analyze customer needs and insights, and translate them into value-added design solutions. Design, prototype, and test product design to ensure quality, functionality, durability, manufacturability and correlate chemical and physical material to consumer application and use, cost, safety and environmental impact. Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to ensure that the designs meet/exceed market/product needs, cost targets, and production requirements. Identify and select materials and components to meet design objectives. Identify, assess and select potential 3rd party design and /or manufacturing partners, and act as our project manager liaison with selected firm(s), travel to production facilities to evaluate processes and ensure compliance and quality to the standards. Develop and perform competitive assessments and analyses Act as the \"thought and team leader' for the business regarding product delivery system and packaging design. REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in Material and Mechanical Engineering or other related fields. 2 or more years of hands-on experience in new product development and tooling design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical systems with proven track record of successful new product design and development, preferably in durable consumer markets Extensive knowledge of product design, materials selection and manufacturing processes and direct experience working with a broad array of materials, preferably for various wipes of tools and delivery systems for coatings, cleaners and other consumer and industrial products. Excellent working knowledge of Computer Aided Design modelling concepts and software proficient with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D part modeling, drawing, and assembly creation of the mechanical components Experience working with tooling manufacturers both domestically and internationally. A passion for design, engineering, problem solving, with critical thinking and creativity. Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team from project concept through commercialization. Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills including good special acuity for design. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills. As a responsible employer we adhere to safer recruitment practice and all our employees are subject to the following recruitment checks:
Right to work in the UKUnder Section 8 of the Asylum and Immigration Act, we, as a responsible employer need to ensure that we do not employ anyone illegally. To avoid discrimination we treat all job applicants equally.
We, therefore, ask all candidates selected for interview to bring original documentation to show their Right to Work in the UK. A copy of these will be taken. Once the successful candidate has been appointed the unsuccessful candidate's documents will be destroyed confidentially. You may be refused an interview if you do not bring the correct documents with you.

Following your interview, two employment references will be sought. One of these should be your current or most recent employer.
If you have finished full-time education and you have no employer reference, we will accept a reference from:
• a professional from your centre of study, for instance, a teacher, lecturer or headteacher• GP or health visitor• a character reference from a person who knows you• a civil servant from a government agency• a bank manager
