Sales Associate Internship
This is a 12-week internship programintended to prepare the intern with tools needed to advance to a Sales Associate in the Roofing Sales Training program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The sales intern will work in the field in collaboration with Tremco Roofing Field Advisors and the Tremco Roofing Training Department over 12 weeks to learn the skills needed to be successful in any field sales position at Tremco Roofing. Interns will gain firsthand working knowledge of material and service sales in addition to learning about other core business functions, including manufacturing, R&D, Product Management, Technical, Marketing and operations. Interns will also have the unique opportunity of shadowing members of the executive management team. The Tremco Roofing Field Sales Internship Program provides an exciting opportunity for students interested in gaining real-world experience in the roofing manufacturing and building science industry. The program is designed to expose interns to a variety of roles within the organization, including manufacturing, research and development, sales and marketing, and operations. Interns will work on a variety of projects and assignments throughout the program, culminating in a final project and presentation to company leadership. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build professional skills, and contribute to the success of a leading company in the industry. JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
Carboline Global Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Associate to assist with Shipping/Receiving of Finished Goods, Tinting of Base Product to Customer Required Color and assisting the Service Center Manager in accomplishing Service Center goals.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of Warehouse experience
Must either have a forklift certification or pass forklift certification test.
Must pass a color blindness test.
Physical Requirements:
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Any function may be performed for up to four hours with no breaks. Operate various warehouse equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, and stock picker.
Essential Functions:
Assist with freight loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving on appropriate trailers.
Assist in warehouse inventory, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing to sales associates for processing.
Read customer orders to determine what needs to be pulled, wrapped, and placed in proper shipping lanes. According to shipper delivery process.
Receive and stock materials or items according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via the appropriate computer program.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

Materials planning and procurement specialist
Hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 4.30pm
A rare opportunity has become available for a dedicated individual to join my client in Basingstoke as a Materials planning and
procurement specialist. As our Materials planning and procurement specialist, you will be a vital link within our organisation
to ensure all materials are where they need to be to ensure we reach our agreed-on time delivery with clients.
Responsibilities of a materials scheduler:
· You will be responsible for planning and ordering direct materials from internal and external vendors on time,
prioritizing OTTR and OTD targets, minimising shortages and past due materials and achieving zero materials backlog.
· You will be responsible for managing and reporting on a weekly basis the direct materials inventory (Raw, WIP,
Reserved, Aging), with the aim to reduce total stock holding, increase Turns, TAT performance and materials availability.
· Work closely with the ERB Coordinator and Experienced Logistics Associate to order, receive, control and issue out
materials in a timely manner to the workshop and relevant business stakeholders.
· You will be actively working and attending weekly meetings with onsite and off-site peers in Quality, Engineering,
Operations, Customer Management, Materials Planning and Delivery in order to reduce customer escalations and TAT and
actively improve MM performance for the site.
· You will be responsible for ensuring timely material ordering, engineering change requests, ensure compliance with
the Operating System and Ensure HS&E and Quality compliance.
· You will support the materials team in the effective supply and delivery of products and components for our shop floor
and field service operations.
· You'll identify and communicate parts shortages and OTTR mitigation options to minimize TAT whilst improving service
level, actively seeking re-use, alternative parts usage, and customer exchange opportunities.
· You should be able to manage and be responsible for a pool of rotable materials, making sure its size and availability
are kept to AOP standards and that also maximizes customer service, reducing TAT and improving capital availability,
working with IDO sites, Operations, Quality and Engineering to maximise Internal repair opportunities.
· You will be actively engaged in Continuous Improvement Activities in the Team and on site, not being afraid to lead
and direct projects that can produce measurable cost / time saving results.
Must Have for a materials scheduler:
Experience within a supply chain / materials / stores function.
You will have a previous knowledge of MRP or ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Must be a pro-active hands-on individual, used to take ownership of situations.
You should be used to fast paced environments and have great attention to detail.
You should ideally have previous experience within aerospace/defense/automotive or manufacturing.
You should have ability to work independently and take direction from others, ability to lead process improvement.
You should have relevant supply chain experience, be able to work under pressure and managing conflicting
deadlines.
Having a Degree will be a preference
Advanced user of Microsoft Office Tools, especially Outlook and Excel.
