Job Title - HGV Driver / Yard Person
Salary £27000 to £30000 per annum + Overtime
Hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
My client, a well-established commercial dealership with depots across the UK is actively seeing to employ an experienced HGV Driver / Yard Person based at a depot in the Manchester area.
HGV Driver / Yard Person job role:
- Arranging and controlling vehicle movements in the yard
- Presenting Vehicles for MOT
- Collection and delivery of Trailers
- Cleaning of vehicles
- General tidying of workshop
- Other ad hoc duties
Requirements for HGV Driver / Yard Person:
- Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Person is essential
- Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Must have own tools
- Must hold a valid Class 1 licence

Class 1 HGV – ADR Tanker Driver:Job Type: Full Time, PermanentLocation: Headcorn (Just outside of Maidstone), KentWorking Hours: Average of 60 hours per week,Monday-Friday, this role involves nights out, sometimes 4 nights out and other times 1-3 nights out Salary: £54,600 per annum based on 60 hours per week and 4 nights outBenefits:

In your first two to three weeks on the job, you would be paired with one of our driver trainers learning how to safely deliver and collect with various trailers and chemicals.All PPE for this training would be issued to you prior to starting.Your work will vary each week, but you will be return to our Headcorn depot to start and finish the week.All hours paid as per tachograph, including breaks.Your jobs will continue to be allocated to you throughout the week via the transport team, so communication with us is essential – any delays, issues, or relevant info. need to be passed on.
