As a Private Cloud Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing strategic guidance, designing cloud architectures, and delivering end-to-end cloud solutions for their enterprise scaled esteemed clients. Your deep understanding of VMWare ecosystems will be vital as you collaborate with client teams to drive successful cloud adoption and transformation projects. Responsibilities:
Engage directly with clients to understand their cloud requirements and develop customized cloud strategies.
Architect and design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on their VMWare platform alongside surrounding infrastructure such as HP 3Par, NSX Networking, NetApp (Metroclusters/FlexPod), Cisco UCS and Veeam backups.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and deploy cloud architectures, leveraging best practices.
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide training to client teams on cloud technologies and best practices.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cloud computing and proactively recommend innovative solutions to optimize performance.
Requirements:
Extensive experience as a customer-facing cloud consultant.
In-depth knowledge of VMWare, NSX, Storage (HP 3Par, Nimble and/or Dell), Cisco UCS or Veeam.
Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks.
Proven track record of successfully delivering cloud projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as VCP DV / NV 7 or above would be beneficial.
Paying between £75-85k depending on experience and seniority.
