we are recruiting for a Floor-layer with wall tiling experience to carry out maintenance activities, repairs, and planned works on behalf of Maintenance Operations. These works relate to residential properties, public buildings, and commercial properties.main responsibilities: Being able to Latex concrete floors Install different types of floors covering i.e. sheet, vinyl floor tiles, vinyl plank type flooring & ceramic floor tiles. Install ceramic wall tiles. Install Altro flooring ( desirable ) provide on site support you will be able to work in line with the Maintenance Operations Multi Skilling training Matrix and appropriate to the trade engineer level. We are looking to hire a Floor Layer to carry out floor laying repairs, maintenance, renewals and replacements ranging from routine reactive repairs to major refurbishment work in occupied and void housing properties in the South London area. A van will be provided for this role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Undertake all aspects of floor laying repairs and maintenance ranging from routine reactive repairs to major renewals and refurbishment work in occupied and void properties. Rectify any problems or defects taking into account of the need to reduce repeated visits and ensure the most cost effective solution is applied under the circumstances. Complete all repairs “Right First Time and to a high standard of quality and workmanship. Ability to work as a team, with Apprentices, and independently with minimal levels of supervision, taking ownership and using initiative to resolve defects and problems, obtaining guidance when appropriate.
