The Role
We are looking for Retail Merchandising Team Driver’s (driver with own vehicle) to add to our already successful merchandising team.
This role will require you to carry out the merchandising role as well as oversee the transportation of a small team of merchandisers to and from each shift.
A typical week consists of 4-5 shifts Sunday to Thursday
Shift lengths are generally 12 hours, days and nights (predominately nights). Access to available assignments will be on your smartphone via our Field Power platform where you can set your availability and accept shifts.
You will be required to clock in and out using your smart phone via our RAS Dashboard.
Work will be carried out on different retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
You will work as part of a team led by a Team Manager or Store Management
You will be required to carry out the following:
Removing and replacing stock with the use of client plans and systems
Adjusting shelf heights
Moving stock from the warehouse onto the shop floor, with use of roll cages and pallet trucks.
Stock replenishment.
Key Skills/ Experience Required
This role will involve working unsociable hours including night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
This role requires you to have a Full Driving License
You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work long shifts where required.
Previous experience in retail desirable, although training will be provided.

Reporting to Senior Technicians and the Laboratory Manager
Multi-skilled to undertake a varied schedule of Laboratory test preparation and procedures on soils to the necessary standards.
Participate and complete training programme.
Ensure test sheets are accurately completed with all necessary data before they are released for calculation.
Ensure testing equipment and tools are cleaned after each test
Ensure calibration markings are intact and valid
Book in samples that arrive in to the stores
Systematically log and catalogue samples in the stores and place on shelving
Receive sample schedules from the Laboratory and/or Engineers and retrieve samples for laboratory testing
Facilitate sorting and delivery of samples for subcontract testing, including specialist concrete design BRE and asbestos screen testing
Return samples from the laboratory to the stores area and re-catalogue
Dispose of samples in accordance with the procedure instructed
Ensure your work station is kept clean and tidy
Building and maintaining good relationships with others in the Laboratory
Complying with relevant H & S regulations and promoting a safety culture within the Laboratory team
Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your line manager
Training:Over 21 months, you’ll devote a minimum of 6 hours of your working week on ‘off the job’ training. This can include theory training (for example, virtual lessons & online learning), alongside practical training (for example shadowing, mentoring, & time spent writing assignments. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Analyzes the flow of offsite fabrication/Panelization processes, identifies needs, tracks performance, evaluates risks/opportunities and drives improvements in the supply chain process to effectively balance supply and demand and improve operational execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with the Optimization Manager and key stakeholders in sales, marketing, and operations to determine key demand requirements and gain consensus on short (monthly) and long-term (12 months+) demand, supply, and inventory targets. May occasionally lead elements within the process or the development of innovative supply chain and operational solutions. Supports the development of innovative supply chain solutions and tools to support drive strategic and tactical decision-making. Determines inventory needs including but not limited to quantity, quality, location, etc. Identifies significant and/or critical supply-demand imbalances. Works with Operations and procurement to solve and communicates with business leaders effectively and timely to allow for proactive resolution. Analyzes delivery performance through statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making tools. Manages and tracks key optimization and execution metrics for the facades offsite business and other assigned strategic initiatives. Assists with the development and execution of network models, capacity analysis, system standards, as well as the replenishment and redistribution of inventory within the network. Identifies current state and potential future state flows of the fabrication, panelization, and offsite business from supply chain to internally fabricated façade finish and external third-party capacity. Provides continuous process mapping support as new methods and sites are added to the network. Travels to sites in the network to fully understand processes and workflows. In scope deliverables include all upstream products that are part of the system. Completes or leads special projects or other supply chain functions as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A bachelor's degree in business or supply chain-related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 2-4 years related experience or training Educational experience with a degree in Supply Chain or professional experience including one year in demand planning. Hands on experience with SAP APO and BI modules utilized for demand planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in formulating and implementing optimization models is a plus. Must have experience manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, highly dimensional data from varying sources as well as driving the collection of new data.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
APICS preferred, or green belt desired.

Must have at least a grade C or 4 GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English, or be willing to undertake Functional Skills as part of the course.
Have an understanding and/or interest in the health and social care sector.
Complete course work on time and to a high standard and produce, maintain, and be responsible for content, accuracy, and sign-off of assessments completed.
Desirable:
Health and social care qualification (GCSE or equivalent).
Duration:
The Apprenticeship will take between 12 - 18 months to complete.
Courses available: Business Administration Level 2 and 3, depending on previous qualifications.
Salary:
£15,704 per annum, for the 1st year – Rate will be assessed after a year.

Swindon
Hours:
08.30 am - 5.00 pm, Monday – Friday. Some flexibility in hours may be required to suit the needs of the business.
