About the role:
You will be working in a school supporting young people from ages 11-16 years who have difficulty managing social interactions, positive relationships and recognizing and regulating their emotions. Many of the students have a diagnosis (or identified traits) of an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
About you:
A successful candidate will have experience working within mainstream or SEN primary education. Areas of particular interest are English, and Year 5-6 Teaching.
Pay starting from £14.55 - £19.75 per hour PAYE or Umbrella equivalent
Requirements for you as the Primary Teacher:
· You must hold QTS or have a high level of teaching experience, and running a class
· Experience in teaching a range of disabilities
· Ability to learn to work effectively with students with complex needs.
· A clear understanding of the National Curriculum and its application.
Shift Times:
· Monday - Friday
· 08:30-16:00
· Term time only
