Carryout operational trouble shooting and fault finding on gas turbine packages and their associated control systems, experience with control of any associated rotating equipment, would be an advantage.
Service and maintenance of control networks and data transfer systems between control devices and DCS systems.
Interrogation of HMI systems during trouble shooting exercises including data gathering and event capture techniques.
Carryout instrumentation and equipment calibration and loop checking as part of servicing or commissioning turbine associated systems for pressure, level, flow, temperature and vibration equipment.
Carryout minor software and system parameter changes/adjustments on the controls systems to ensure efficient gas turbine operation.

You will be working on several complex projects, from inception through to handover. You will be ensuring the delivery of specified products and services within agreed time, quality, and cost parameters.â¯As Project Manager you willâ¯oversee the physical systems and implementations themselves and also the resulting process and business change, ensuringâ¯change is embedded.
This role is hands-on with the implementation and installation of Projects and experience working on commercial based contracts/projects will be advantageous.
So, what would your day to day look like?
- Develop and implement the detailed installation project plan for standard projects and aid with more complex projects and/or key accounts.
- Assist with the installation delivery for standard EV, ANPR and digital payment solutions, including coordinating all internal and external parties to ensure project is installed safely, on budget and on schedule.
- Monitor the performance, health and safety and quality of the selected contractors and report to project management team as required.
- Supporting the design team where needed and able to provide a site level intellect of construction design preferably electrical.
- Manage and monitor all operational risks at site level escalating where necessary.
- Projects will include Parking equipment installs, ANPR, Contract Mobilisation, Data migration and the Integration of digital payment options.
How do you know if youre right?
To succeed youll need a track record of delivering Electrical Installation Projects and a proven record of managing teams well.
- You will have several years Project Management experience in a similar role and the ability to multi-task and deliver/control multiple projects in tandem.
- Specific EV Charging knowledge is essential with a passion for Electric Vehicles and associated Infrastructure projects.
- Degree or equivalent qualified in Electrical Engineering or technical discipline would be advantageous with strong Microsoft IT skills or Qualified to NVQ/C&G level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.

We are recruiting a Project Manager to manage through to completion customer related accounts from enquiry to delivery. .
.As a Project manager You will ensure the contracts are delivered in accordance with committed delivery dates, to cost, quality and customer expectations.
The successful candidate will be a well organised Project Manager with excellent Technical knowledge of who can not only grow our client’s current accounts and business but also focus on new business opportunities within various industries.

Key Focus and Responsibilities of a Project manager:
. Develop and maintain the programme plan and risk matrices. Work to mitigate risks where possible.
Responsible for cost during project delivery, working with internal departments to ensure that product margin is maintained and providing regular cost reports to management
Work with the customers to ensure alignment of plans
Manage changes to the project schedule and costs using appropriate techniques
Establish and maintain relationships with sub-suppliers/third parties
Manage the supply / repair requirements of free issue government articles, or those provided by a third party to support the land defence contracts
Coordinate delivery schedules with the appointed third party defence packing agent
Coordinate communication and working between the various business functions
Be the key customer point of contact and lead customer meetings
Manage payments and invoicing, generate and present evidence to support each invoice and prompt payment
Completion of contract reporting requirements, as defined in each of the land defence contracts
Report and escalate as appropriate on project status to the business, internal and external customers
Maintain business and customer Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Business Systems (SAP)
Essentials and desirable of the Project manager
Strong project management skills and proven experience in the delivery of manufacturing programmes, ideally within a Defence environment
Mechanical engineering background
Excellent people skills and an ability to deal with demanding customers whilst developing the existing relationships.
Able to work under pressure and complete contracts on time.
Computer Literacy, with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages including MS Project.
Be able to achieve SC clearance
Relish the challenge of delivering critical land defence contracts in suport of national security
Working hours of the Project manager:
Working 37.5 hours per week, the successful candidate will be offered flexible working hours to suit their circumstances; however the below core working hours must be worked by all employees.
Monday to Thursday – 9:30AM to 2:15PM
Friday – 9:30AM to 12PM
Basic package of the Project manager
Salary: £42000 - £48000 plus company bonus.
