Tremco CPG is currently searching for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician: Performs scheduled and unplanned plant process maintenance and repairs at a Commercial Roofing Manufacturing Plant in Cleveland, OH. Responds to unscheduled maintenance issues as required. Maintains parts inventories, submits purchase requisitions, and maintains equipment files. Communicates job status as appropriate to operators, management, and other maintenance personnel. Troubleshoots, plans, modifies, and repairs/rebuilds all types of plant equipment Performs basic electrical troubleshooting, repair, and construction, as required Tests new or repaired equipment to assure satisfactory performance Modifies/fabricates as required, using welder, cutting torches and various machines and tools Keeps equipment, maintenance shop, and job sites in a clean and orderly condition Works in accordance with OSHA and Tremco safety policies and procedures Works from ladders, lifts, elevated places, and confined spaces, as required Documents work completed; reports job outcome/supplies Daily handoff /communication with other shifts Details job status as appropriate to operators, management, and other maintenance personnel Submits requisitions for repair/replacement parts, as necessary Enters MRO receipts in SAP system, maintains parts inventory/shop/equipment files/records Lifts up to 50 lbs., as required. Heavier parts/materials will be handled using other methods Works with solvents, degreasers, lubricants, and other common industrial chemicals Works with minimal supervision Directs work of others, as required (contractors, operators, etc.) Researches equipment/facility needs, as appropriate, through manuals, files, internet, etc.
Regular hours/shifts may vary as production and maintenance coverage needs dictate Must have thorough knowledge of all plant equipment, machinery, and processes Performs other job duties, as assigned The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $59,000 and $79,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.

Key Responsibilities
On receipt of assigned work schedule ensure all necessary equipment and service kits to conduct the assigned work is available and on works van. Liaise with the office for additional supplies where necessary.
Maintain a professional relationship with customers and their staff
Perform all maintenance and repair work thoroughly, in a safe manner, and in accordance with all laid down service instructions. Ensuring system items removed from customer premises are labelled as necessary to identify the part and issue and returned to office.
Ensure all paperwork, whether in hard copy or required to be completed via an issued tablet/iPad, in respect of each job is completed properly and is received by the office in a timely manner and in good condition.
Report all callouts to the Office as soon as possible. During nominated call out periods ensure phone is kept on and is responded to in a timely fashion. On receipt of call out schedule keep nominated call out dates free of holiday and other commitments and notify the office immediately of any perceived conflicts.
Maintaining allocated service vehicle in a good condition and for performing all daily and weekly checks, and for ensuring completed check sheets are received by the office in a timely manner
Ensure all work equipment is maintained, including Ladder checks and tags, PAT testing, Calibrations, and associated pre-use checks.
Complete all assigned training courses within timeframe allocated. You are responsible for ensuring that all CSCS cards, similar scheme or competency cards that you are required to hold are maintained.
Observe all company QHSE policies, procedures and other instructions and ensure all concerns observed or reported are submitted to the QHSE Compliance department. Notify the office without delay of any incidents, near misses or H&S concerns.
