We are looking to recruit an Assistant Contract Manager to work as part of the management team to ensure all operational requirements and service level agreements are met through all aspects of the contract ensuring quality standards and contractual requirements are maintained, acting as a direct link to the client and be fully aware of all Operational issues at the contract.
What you'll do:
- Assist the Contract Manager in ensuring the smooth delivery of the contract with operational responsibility. Predominantly based in Lincoln, with some travel across the County.
- Assist in budgeting and reviewing revenue and expenditure, fill out paperwork delegated by the manager.
- Identify financial trends and instigate remedial action where necessary.
- Monitor budget and contract spend in relation to uniform, stationery, and supplies ensuring effective cost control.
- Liaise with clients alongside the manager.
- To stand in for Contract Manager in their absence, taking accountability for the teams performance
- Ensure the team give a positive service to the client and help to fulfil the contract.
- Management of resources including effective deployment of staff throughout the contract ensuring contractual requirements are met.
- Continuous monitoring of enforcement activity, involving regular reporting on key performance indicators to theContract Manager, identifying trends and instigating remedial action where necessary.
- Help manage the human resources of the team, i.e. recruitment and dismissing of staff if and when necessary, in line with company policies and procedures.
- 1-1 reviews with team members to acknowledge performance and ensure they are reaching targets and delivering on their KPIs.
- Help with recruiting and training of new staff members.
- Develop, coach, and monitor the supervisory team in relation to cost control, supervisory skills, health & safety.
- Set objectives, conduct appraisals, and identify training needs for operational staff.
- Monitor and manage staff absence and lateness.

Lead the administration and management of Asbestos Surveying and Asbestos Removal contracts, along with any other small compliance-related contracts.
Provide regular updates and support to the Building Safety Manager on contract outcomes against the programme, including KPIs, budget, contract meetings, and general progress all within the contractual framework.
Undertake procurement exercises with the Building Safety Manager, and Procurement Manager for the compliance contracts.
Ensure systems are continuously updated including but not limited to the Asbestos Register, Asbestos Management Plan, Housing and Asset System, CRM, and Documents Management.
This role involves raising and completing orders, organising inspections, processing payment, and carrying out other support tasks such as word processing, correspondence, specifications, and providing general support to the Building Safety Manager within the Asset Team.
Attend relevant webinars, courses, and collaborative networks to ensure that legislation and regulation changes are incorporated into our Policies and procedures.
Undertake any other duties to meet the requirements of the role.
Requirements
Proven experience in asbestos contract management is essential.
Detailed knowledge of building pathology
Understanding of compliance activities within social housing and ability to manage compliance contracts.
Experience in using a variety of JCT and partnering contracts with the ability to undertake a procurement exercise.
Asbestos P405 in the Management of Asbestos is essential (Another such as P402 would be considered).
Must hold a valid UK driving license and have own vehicle for business use.

The role of the Technical Sales Manager is to identify, develop and then secure sales. The core skills required will be to be able to take ownership of customer relationships, understand issues that customers are experiencing in the effluent treatment process and then offer cost effective solutions that achieve the discharge consents. It is then key to ensure that these opportunities are developed into sales and then effective handover takes place to the delivery team. To ensure the longer term relationship with the customer is maintained then the Technical Sales Manager will also have a significant part in the maintenance of the relationship with the customer to the point of commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities/ Requirements
Technical
Initial concept design, to include process to be adopted, equipment identification and sizing, works location and specification.
Production of process flow diagram.
Client liaison and scheduling of works.
Direction of technical matters through direct input or by delegation to others during contract delivery.
Aid the Directors in monitoring and control of technical resources.
Sales
Business development including identification of new clients, new areas of work and nurturing existing client relationships and securing tender enquiries.
