You will be joining a Legal 500 firm who represent national and international clients that put their trust in them, many of whom are very entrepreneurial. They have worked hard to establish a strong reputation for delivering clear and pragmatic legal advice by investing time in getting to thoroughly know their client's businesses and complement this with their strong private client team who can offer joined up support for their personal finances too.
Winning awards across multiple divisions they have continued to excel and are rapidly becoming a major force within the Yorkshire market allowing the practice to grow and reach new heights each year.

The firm take a sensible approach to billable hours with a moderate target of 1000 billable hours a year; however, they don’t typically refer to personal targets but work on a team basis. There is a constant stream of work sources which will allow the successful candidate to develop their skills in a range of topics within the private client sector. There is also opportunity to take part in business development if it appeals but this is not a necessity.
To be the successful candidate for this you will have experience of 6+ PQE and will have confidence and great communication skills that will help you whether working with their commercially savvy clients or when networking and marketing the firm. You will need to be able to build strong, long-term relationships with the clients and help drive the growth of the firm by representing them in how you work. The role will offer access to a high-quality work as well as offering you the opportunity to assist more junior solicitors with their own caseloads. It will focus you on dealing with HNW matters for clients with an entrepreneurial approach and undertaking a variety of tasks like drafting wills, powers of attorney's, trusts, estate management and tax planning.

Perform tool setting, machine maintenance, machine loading, de-burring of components, loading CNC program of components, inspection of components and updating of system to achieve current status of workload.

To have an understanding of cutting tool and component materials and their effect on productivity. The importance of correct tool selection, an understanding of cutting tool conditions including rigidity, speeds, feeds, lubrication and their application and effect. Also, to understand tool failure and to recognise causes and take appropriate action to rectify them.
To understand and apply safe and appropriate workholding methods and techniques to satisfy component requirements, including manual and automatic chucks, vices, direct clamping (to machine tables) and special jigs and fixtures.
Verify the conformity of parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies in line with engineering drawings, the quality management system and any special customer requirements.
Identify and report non-conformance as per the Company procedure.
Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Health Safety Environment policies and procedures.
Training:
The apprentice will be working towards the Level 3 Machining Technician Apprenticeship Standard.
Qualifications include: EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (Development Competence), EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) and EAL Level 3 Diploma in Machining (Development Knowledge).
This is a 4 year apprenticeship with college attendance required one day per week.

Pre-Proposal Stage: Conducts pre-proposal Meetings and distributes completed pre-proposal meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Assist the Construction Manager in reviewing proposals. Prepare Proposal Documents as directed by the Construction Manager. Pre-Construction Stage: Publish the Project Schedule. Assists Construction Manager in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Engages with the Project Superintendent to provide necessary project information. Conducts Pre-Construction Meetings and distributes completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Obtain Building Permit when required. Construction Stage: Review Daily Inspection Forms and ensure they are distributed to all applicable parties and uploaded into project files. Visits job site as necessary or directed by the Construction Manager. Conduct weekly Progress Meetings, virtual or onsite, and distribute meeting minutes to all applicable parties. Maintain Project Schedule and update on a weekly basis. Perform site audits as appropriate. Review subcontractor payment requests with the Construction Manager. Assemble AIA billing applications for the Construction Manager's review and approval. Assist the Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, Subcontractor, Owner, or Sales Representative as needed. Close Out Stage: Assist the Construction Manager in coordinating the final inspection. Ensure all required documents are uploaded into the project files.
OTHER ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Ability to travel out of town, including overnight travel. Must have transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to work weekends and/or holidays if needed.
