The Senior Parent Support Advisor will join the Early Help Service team and will be responsible for offering support and advice to families to prevent family breakdown and the involvement of statutory services.
Main Responsibilities
As a Senior Parent Support Advisor, you will be responsible for:
Working in partnership with families offering listening, advice and guidance in order to develop and enhance parenting skills.
Delivering evidence-based parenting programmes to a defined client group.
Completing assessments using the Early Help Framework and Signs of Safety model to make appropriate referrals to other services.
Taking on the role of the Lead Professional, co-ordinating services in the Team Around the Family (TAF) acting as the single point of contact, when required. To work in partnership with relevant professionals in statutory and non-statutory organisations
Supporting families who do not meet the thresholds that trigger the involvement of specialist services.
Requirements:
NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent in the field of Child Care, Education, Health
To have significant experience of direct work with children young people and their families in the family home or in the community.

I am currently working with a specialist fleet vehicle workshop who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of an HGV Technician.
HGV Technician job role:
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturers procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
- Working Vans and LGV up to 7.5 tons
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
- Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
- Road test vehicle when required
- Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller
Requirements for HGV Technician:
- Previous experience as an LGV Technician is essential
- Experience over qualifications
- Must have own tools
- Class 2 or Grandfather rights
