Teach Plus are currently working with a welcoming, 2-form entry primary school located in Hounslow who are seeking a Teaching Assistant who has a range of experience across KS1 and KS2.
The role will to be to support the class teachers with the day to day running of the classroom, planning daily activities and supporting children with additional needs where required. They are looking for someone who has experience delivering interventions, supporting children with SEND, and helping out generally across the school.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:
Follow the class teacher’s direction in supporting the child both inside and outside the classroom
Follow plans for activities and intervention sessions provided by the class teacher
Establish positive relationships with the pupils, parents, class teachers and other members of staff across the school
Ensure the child feels supported and safe by having a warm and nurturing approach
Support the class teacher with planning activities and resources for the classrooms
Be flexible, where required.

Experience delivering interventions

Teach Plus are currently working with an independent 2-form school, they are looking for a confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team.
The SEN teaching assistant role is across EYFS – Key Stage 2, the school is based over 2 buildings with EYFS in a separate building with their own facilities.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to:
Follow the class teacher and SENCO’s direction in supporting the child both inside and outside the classroom
Working on a permanent contract providing support for pupils either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups under the direction of the Head of Learning Support
Work with children who have SEND & SEMH needs.
Ensure the child feels supported and safe by having a warm and nurturing approach
The ideal candidate for a SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
Have experience working with children with SEND
Ideally have experience working with SEN children on 1:1 basis
The ability to build rapport with the child and be able to respond to the child’s individual needs
Have delivered lessons tailored to children’s needs as outlined in their individual education plan
