Stratos Control Systems Limited are specialists in Industrial Process & Production Control panels. They will be moving from Thrapston to Corby, near Asda, in June 2025.
Their in-house workshop produces control panels of the highest quality, from simple rebuilds to complex control suites approved as an integrator by Siemens, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Honeywell.

Working within the engineering department, you will gain on-the-job training and experience through the apprenticeship programme and monitored professional development.
So what will you be learning in this role?
You will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and work alongside experienced engineers to learn industry standards and best practices
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Support fault-finding and troubleshooting activities on electrical equipment and learn about electrical safety regulations and ensure compliance in all tasks
You will gain experience in using hand tools, test equipment, and software relevant to electrical engineering
Working within the employer's health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
College course will begin in September 2025.Training:

As an apprentice within our engineering department you will receive good all-round training in engineering practices.
You will support our engineering team with general duties on site, as well as learning a well recognised qualification during your time with us. You will roll your sleeves up and get stuck into life at 2 Sisters.
As an engineer, you will be key to keeping our sites running and work with some of our equipment.
You will have exposure to people at all different levels and learn from some of the best in the industry.
You will be trained to a very high standard in areas such as:
Mechanical engineering
Electrical engineering
Automation engineering
Fault finding skills
Adjustment and setting of machines to a good operating standard

This is a 4 year Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship, with the first year being full time at the training provider, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, Walsall, WS9 8UG
